This Privacy Policy outlines how nuMoni (“we”, “our”, or “us”), a coalition loyalty and marketing platform operated by nuMoni Rewards & Marketing Company Limited, processes your personal information in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) issued by NITDA.

nuMoni is a digital rewards platform that allows Users to earn and redeem points across a coalition of partner Merchants. We also enable Merchants to market directly to engaged consumers. We operate as a data controller as defined under the NDPR.
2. Our Commitment to Your Privacy
nuMoni is committed to protecting your personal data in line with the NDPR, 2019, which regulates the collection, processing, storage, and transfer of data in Nigeria. We are fully compliant with NDPR’s principles under Section 2.1(d), ensuring that:
“Personal Data shall be collected and processed in accordance with specific, legitimate, and lawful purposes consented to by the Data Subject.”
3. What Personal Data We Collect
In line with NDPR Section 2.1(a) and 2.1(b), we collect only data that is:

● By signing up, you explicitly consent (per NDPR Section 2.3) to:
● The processing of your data for reward and marketing services

● Right to access and request copies of your data
● Right to withdraw consent at any time
● Right to correct or update personal data
● Right to request deletion of your data
● Right to lodge a complaint with NITDA

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties
Your data is shared only:
● With Merchants whose reward points you claim or redeem
● With licensed service providers supporting nuMoni’s infrastructure

7. Data Storage & Retention
● Data is stored on secure cloud servers located within Nigeria or in jurisdictions with adequate data protection as recognized by NITDA.
● We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated, or as required by law (NDPR Section 2.1(f)).
● Account deletion triggers anonymization or secure deletion within 90 days, unless otherwise required by regulation.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website and app may use cookies and analytics tools to improve experience. By using our services, you consent to the use of cookies, which you may disable via browser settings.
9. Data Security Measures
We adopt security best practices under NDPR Section 2.6, including:
● End-to-end encryption
● Two-factor authentication

10. Children’s Privacy
nuMoni does not knowingly collect data from persons under 16 years of age. If we discover such data has been submitted, we will delete it promptly unless parental consent is obtained.
