1. About nuMoni
nuMoni is a digital loyalty and marketing platform operated by nuMoni rewards & Marketing Company Ltd. It enables individual users (“Users”) to earn and redeem reward points across a network of partner businesses (“Merchants”). We operate as a coalition loyalty platform, meaning all participating merchants offer points redeemable across the ecosystem.
We are not a financial, savings, or investment service. Our platform is designed solely to reward consumers and promote participating businesses.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using nuMoni, either as a User or a Merchant, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
3. User Terms
By signing up as a User on nuMoni, you agree that:
a) You are procuring merchant-issued reward points that may be redeemed at participating Merchant locations.
b) Your data (limited to transaction history, name, and contact details) may be shared only with Merchants you have transacted with, for marketing and service-related engagement.
c) You consent to receive in-app messages, SMS, push notifications, and email communications from nuMoni or its partner Merchants.
d) You understand that reward points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
e) nuMoni is not responsible for the quality, delivery, or safety of any goods or services provided by Merchants.
f) You accept that your participation is entirely voluntary and at your own discretion and risk.
g) You acknowledge that nuMoni is not a bank or investment service and does not guarantee any financial returns.
4. Merchant Terms
Merchants who join nuMoni agree to:
a) Participate in a coalition loyalty program, issuing and accepting reward points as agreed upon.
b) Honor redemption of points in-store or online in line with your published redemption policy.
c) Maintain quality and consistency in all goods and services promoted on or via the nuMoniplatform.
d) Ensure full transparency in your reward structures and promotional communications.
5. Deals Page Participation
The nuMoni Deals Page is a special promotional section of the platform where Merchants may post spot offers for the benefit of Users.
Merchants who opt into this feature must agree to the following:
a) All offers posted must reflect accurate pricing and honest descriptions.
b) Misrepresentation is grounds for immediate suspension from the Deals Page.
c) Merchants must honor the quality and value as advertised on the platform at the listed price, for the full duration of the deal.
d) Participation in the Deals Page is governed by a commercial agreement (forward contract) between the Merchant and nuMoni.
6. Marketing Contracts & Commission Model
By signing up to the nuMoni Deals Page, Merchants enter into a forward marketing contract, which includes:
a) nuMoni will promote the Merchant’s brand, products, and offers across its platform and external marketing channels.
b) nuMoni will push targeted traffic to the Merchant’s listed offers through digital ads, push notifications, and curated deal placements.
In exchange, the Merchant agrees to:
a) Honor all transactions initiated via nuMoni.
b) Pay a 10% commission on the final transaction value redeemed via the platform.
c) Settle commissions in accordance with NuMoni’s payout and settlement policy.
All sales initiated by nuMoni users and completed via redemption are binding and subject to this agreement.
7. Data Privacy and Sharing
a) User data is shared only with Merchants they have interacted with.
b) No data is sold or disclosed to third parties not involved in the loyalty transaction.

nuMoni complies with all applicable privacy laws, including Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and, where applicable, GDPR.8. Platform Conduct
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
a) Fraudulent creation of accounts or transactions
b) Misuse of reward points
c) Attempting to game the system through fake referrals or purchases
d) Misrepresentation of offers, stock availability, or pricing by Merchants
Violation may result in account termination, forfeiture of rewards, and legal action where applicable.
9. Limitation of Liability
nuMoni is not liable for:
a) Any failure by a Merchant to fulfill an order, redeem points, or honor an offer.
b) Any product defects, delivery delays, service issues, or user dissatisfaction.
c) Disputes arising from the transaction between User and Merchant, either online or in-person.
All engagements are at the sole risk of the parties involved.
10. Termination & Modification
nuMoni reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any part of the platform, including reward structures and eligibility criteria, with or without notice.
We may also amend these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of any updated terms.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable regulatory guidelines or via arbitration if mutually agreed.
